Tips To Soothe Your Cranky Child

Hi Parents,
Parenting is never an easy journey especially when it is about newly formed parents. Delivering and having your baby is tiring, laborious and painful but along with it comes joy of having your little one in your arm. You do feel that now your child is safe. This is the time you might be both excited to have your baby as we as nervous about how to give all care required.
Be ready mom and dad. Now its time to have sleepless days as well as nights. Now in addition to your earlier work you have a small, little baby in your arm to take care of. You need to change his diapers, feed him every now and then. Along with this comes soothing your crying baby. The baby can not speak and so it cries for every other thing, either he might be hungry or sleepy. Even for every pee or poo. Now is the time to develop your skills as a baby- comforter. The better you comfort him more smiles you can see on your babies face.
Interacting with your baby while changing his or her diaper or while giving bath can be a way to comfort him. Slowly he might be able to recognize your face as well as expressions.
Moving your baby in rhythmic motion in your arm, sling, cradle or swing can help your baby to cool down.
Babies start sucking while they are in womb so sucking might help them to calm down. Breast feeding, use of pacifier, sucking their own finger or their tether can help too.
Along with motion, babies are affected by sound too. Singing or humming soft lullabies might help you child. Soft music can even help your baby to calm down and even to doze off.
Many kids are attracted to images too. Seeing their own image in the mirror in a playful way might help to soothe a crying baby.
Distraction can help too. Try showing your child some toys, pictures, moving traffic or even other kids.
Touch therapy works for all kids as well as adults. Giving a soft massage and at the same time talking or singing can help too.
Not all kids are same, neither their moods are same. Keep trying different ways and find out by your self, what soothes your child.

All the best.
